Warning: This talker makes frequent stops

FIRE-AND-BRIMSTONE: the torments suffered by sinners in hell

Daughter:  When will I die?

Husband: What?!?

Daughter: When will I die?

Me: We don’t know.  Hopefully, when you’re old.

Husband: Why are you talking about this?

Daughter: I don’t know.

Husband: What do you think happens when you die?

Daughter: There is fire…

Me: [alarmed, but laughing] What?!?

Daughter:  There is fire…works.

Daughter’s brain sometimes works faster than her mouth and it takes a bit of time to articulate her whole idea.  She often pauses mid-sentence, gathers her thoughts, and starts over from the beginning.  This time her pause came at just the wrong place.

Fireworks when you die is celebratory and festive.

Fire when you die is bad news.
