Inquiring Minds Want to Know

INQUIRY: examination into facts or principles; research; a request for information

Inspired by Parenting is Funny’s “Why God Made Moms” post, I decided to quiz Son with some of the same questions.   Here are his responses:

Why did God make mommy?

So that we have a grown-up to help us cross the street.

What is mommy made of?

Blood, bones, skin.  Mostly that.

What kind of little girl was mommy?

What did mommy need to know about daddy before she married him?

That he was good.

Why did mommy marry your daddy?

So we could have a daddy.

Who’s the boss at our house?

Mommy and Daddy.  Daddy is a little bit more of the boss, I guess.

What’s the difference between moms and dads?

Moms have more hair.

What does mommy do in her spare time?

Clean up.

What would it take to make mommy perfect?

If sometimes you would let us do what we wanted – like climb on the ceiling.

If you could change one thing about mommy, what would it be?

I’d pack my own lunch.

  1. Ha ha, I did the same after reading your post. I am made of leaves, chocolate and cake (two out of three ain’t bad!)
And to be perfect I need purple curly hair, pink trousers and a permenant fixed grin!
